What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?

Making my bed lol…

Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?

I have met Les gold from American jewelry and loan before and he was cool on taking a pic with me. For those of you who don’t know who he is, he and his two kids had a tv show based out of Detroit called hardcore pawn and it was a wild show and very entertaining. He is a chill guy, I even met his son Seth restored king some items the same day, but Les made the show go in my opinion. The show had ran for a few years and was pure gold when it came to the entertainment part, a lot drama for sure was also included, but an overall solid watch.

My lovely pets

What is good about having a pet?

Comforting, compassion, and loyalty the way pets are, no matter what you have as a pet. I’ve had cats, birds, fish, gerbils, dogs, I even had a bearded dragon I got from my wife friend before. I am a dog person at the end of the day though. I have two dogs Mia and penny and they are part of the family. They can be consoling at times when you are having a rough day and they can also be a pain in the but too lol, but I love my dogs. I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid and will continue to do just that. I love all animals when it is said and done and one day I will own a ferret. My wife says I play too much with the pets and a ferret would be a perfect fit for me the way I mess around with the dogs.

Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

My gold necklace was a pretty penny two years ago when I purchased it. I always was a sterling silver kind of guy and after watching stock, crypto and gold go up and down in value, that’s when I decided to look into getting my hands on some gold. I had monitored a particular piece of jewelry and price watched it for over a year and right when the gold value had dipped down to my liking, I went out and purchased my gold necklace. Now it has almost tripled in value and I can say it that I’m glad I made the purchase.

What podcasts are you listening to?

It’s a pretty good podcast about finances, how to adopt stock information and grow your equity. I peek my head into stocks, crypto, bonds etc, and if there is someone who has a bit more knowledge than I do and can explain it to my liking and grab my attention, then yes I’m all in for the ride. I’ve watched the markets go up and down like a roller coaster over the past few years and yes it’s like incredible to see people pull out and out in to make the numbers inflate. I’ve sold and bought stocks and crypto, sometimes too early and sometimes too late. It’s a gamble for sure but I am also careful on not emptying out my bank account.

Celebration

November 8th 2022 I decided that i wanted to give up alcohol for the good so i can be a better person. It was really dragging me down and it wasn’t fun anymore. It took courage and discipline to achieve that challenge. It was a mountain I had to move and with lots of prayer and confessing, here I am 3 years later, still sober, haven’t had not even a sniff of any sort of alcohol standing tall, I feel so good. Alcohol abuse is a real thing and especially in the times we are living in, some people ask me how can I stay sober with all that’s going on in our world, how do I deal with all the stress and chaos all over the news and in the face of the people, I kindly and respectfully say that I am fine without and I can manage the merry waters that we go through without any kind of substance. My will power and determination keeps me churning along everyday. I have a daughter that needs me and I have to be in a clear and focused state of mind to protect her as she is getting older.

What was your favorite subject in school?

Successful writing was and is my favorite, it is more than just writing and putting words on paper. It’s all about shaping ideas, expressing identity, and possibly building skills for a lifetime. I feel like it is an expression of one’s skills to also be creative, cultivating habits, along with perspectives, and strategies that transform writing into your own craft.

How do you manage screen time for yourself?

By calculating how many hours of sleep I’m trying to achieve for the night to be well rested

Do you need time?

We always need time for a lot of reasons to be exact, when they say time is of the essence it truly is. I myself find ways to exhaust the daily hustle squeezing out every second as best as I can when I can. And at the end of the day you find out that there is more and it just gets added to the next day. That’s why on my last post I talked about my national nothing day, that way we can really put all our to do things in one assembly line and take care of them in order versus being scattered.

What will your life be like in three years?

Retired out west maybe in Colorado or Oregon with my wife and two dogs after my daughter graduate high school and go off to college. That is our plan before we turn 50. My daughter got 3 years of high school left and my wife and I talk about this all the time, so it’s ironic that this is the prompt of the day.
