Being there for my family when in need and when not in need, just being there and with them knowing that I am always there. The feeling of being loved for that is immeasurable and to see the looks on their faces says it all. One day after I got home from work my daughter ran in the house crying because her hair was all in knots and she didn’t know what to do with it, I mean she was balling in my arms and as a dad, I’m not to good with little girls hairstyles. I put a post on social media and the person that reached out was a longtime friend who is thought moved out of state was back in our home state and told me to bring her to her house and she can do some hairstyle that my kid would love. I told my kid my old friend reached out and wanted us to come over, my kid was hesitant at first, but wanted something that she can feel good about. And that was almost 3 years ago and we go to her every two months to this day and my kid thank me every trip and let’s me know that she is grateful for the fact that I threw that out to social media and introduced her to her hat stylist.
