The wonderful world of logistics operating within the FedEx ground business is that I am a business contact/manager for the fleet my contractor gives me the reigns to handle. It can be a pain some times, but the guys that I manage is a cool group of people. I handle all of the disputes, complaints, batteries, fuel etc. The one thing that gets me is that when all the guys dispatch, I sometimes cannot leave and go home right away is that if one of the guys have a situation and I have to respond in person, I live to far from the areas that we cover to be driving out to where they are at so I stick around in the area for a while until I feel they are ok, other than that I’m free to go.
