Taking care of my elderly neighbors when necessary, making sure they have what they need, gathering their garbage cans, helping bring groceries and other items from their vehicle into their homes. I specifically tend to my next door neighbor the most when I see her trying to do it for herself, l’ve shoveled for her, mowed for her, had some great conversations with her as well, when I see at the markets, I gather items for her, she is an angel in disguise I always say. I feel like helping out your community is key to building a strong community, and with a strong community, it’s easy living. As I get older, I notice a lot of people don’t even know there neighbors name, they don’t acknowledge their neighbors at all and I was raised to respect all, and especially your fellow neighbors.
