IWhat’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?

I would like to quit my job, but a RV and do a travel vlog while touring the United States of America with my wife and daughter. Blogging about the food, the different cities and the talking with the people of those cities. Getting a real point of view besides what is shown on the news. From San Diego to Albany New York to Fargo North Dakota all the way down to Laredo Texas. That would be amazing and one day we will be doing just that.

I love it

I enjoy my life as much as I can and when I don’t have time to do so, I find it by all means. Sometimes I feel like I’m surrounded by super negative people, Debbie downers if you may, but out of all of it I still find joy in a day to day life. Just my thoughts…

Building my faith

What have you been working on?

My faith and dedication to the most high getting closer working on my faith to be stronger because without him none of this is possible. I give all the glory to GOD in my belief and that is a fact. With the world being how it is and have been for many decades, the world need a spiritual awakening to see what we are really meant to do in this life and I believe with the chaos going on, a shake up is in due process. Some might say a shake up was supposed to be a long time ago and I would agree with that opinion but here we are. GOD bless you all.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

That I am a math wizard to a point, I really enjoy numbers and I add the digits of license plates of vehicles I am behind while I’m in traffic. I have no idea why I do it but I do, I realized it a few years ago sitting at a red light and I just so happen to add up the digits on the car in front of me. It’s like I can do math in my head without second guessing the answer, but when I was in school, I couldn’t stand math. I guess as an adult we have to know numbers to figure out what’s coming in and what’s going out and to find the balance of it all.

Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

Lazy days makes me feel unproductive, I’m to used to getting it done no matter what the task is. On my off days I’m up and at it bright in the morning, rather it’s grocery shopping, yard work, in the garage organizing etc. I like to stay busy and when I’m done taking care of what I need to do then I rest knowing that my chores are done and my home is in tact.

My mother that is

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

Mom mother is the definition of successful due to the fact it took her many years to graduate college while having three children from. She had me in 1980, worked until I was able to go to elementary school hook and she would do classes while I was in school, got pregnant with my brother, stepped back to raise him until our grandmother was able to look after us hair a while and then she went back. 1992 came and my little sister was born, at that time my stepdad was around to help out, but a mother wants to be around to make sure things were tip top and she did. She finally graduated and got her degree in 2004 and it was one of the best days of her life she still tells me to this day and we love the dedication and determination she went through to achieve that degree she sought out beginning way back in 1980 and before she decided to go to college, she was enlisted into the U.S. Army, but had to get out because she found out that she was pregnant with me. I love and appreciate my mother.

Thou shall respect thy neighbor.

What makes a good neighbor?

My neighbor Dottie is the absolute best in so many ways it’s really indescribable. She is nice and sweet, respectful, caring, thoughtful and generous, she is an elderly single lady that lives alone and myself, my wife and a few other neighbors look out for her well being everyday. I see her out at the grocery store sometimes and I try and give her a hand, but her independence is unmatched. We all take care of her yard, take and bring her garbage cans up and down when need be, mow her lawn, shovel her snow, the things she has trouble doing, so we tend to get it done for her. She is our little angel and she knows it, she is very religious and I’m absolutely fine with that, the other day we sat on my front porch and had a good 1/2 hour conversation about all kinds of stuff and we laughed and giggled throughout, but then she wanted to go and ride her bike to get her legs moving so she left and I told her to have a great afternoon and be safe on those trails. She waved at me on her way down the road , told me see you later and rode off down the road as she does almost everyday. That is my good neighbor and we love her very much.

You just gotta keep living

What could you try for the first time?

I would probably be super scared to do it, but I want to skydive one day and feel what that would be like. That would be a first, and to get that feeling of loss doing something like that. I’ve read up on it before and said I wouldn’t do that, but then I look around and realize why not try something extraordinary that get the blood pumping even more than what I do now. My wife and I had booked a hot air balloon ride once before and we both backed out due to not feeling it. Due to lifestyle change, we both have made some huge decisions over the past couple years and now we’re ready to take the next step and level up our enjoyment and skydiving of some sort or scuba diving would be an adventure for the both of us.

What principles define how you live?

One word and that is RESPECT.

I have put a lot of things on hold being sort of lazy to a point, and I try and work on that for the for the better part of my life. I take the long road sometimes, making sure I dot my I’s and cross my T’s just to make sure. I guess it’s a me thing and I am absolutely fine with that.
